First Vehicle Leasing has appointed a Canadian husband and wife to its sales team. Allyson Weir and Bill Yardley from Vancouver have experience in the motor trade across the Atlantic.

Weir has been a business financial manager for much of her career, with around 25 years senior management experience in the trade. Yardley is a former chef and has worked in the motor trade for the past ten years.

As sales account managers, the couple will share the same job role within First Vehicle Leasing.
Weir said;

“Both Bill and I are delighted to join FVL. Whilst the motor trade in Scotland is different to Canada, all the dealers, suppliers and customers have been fantastic to work with!”

When asked if the same could be said for working alongside your husband, she said;

“Absolutely! In fact, my former business partner of many years is Bill’s dad, and then Bill came to work alongside us – we weren’t a couple at the time, we weren’t even friends at the time – but that soon changed! We work really well together; Bill respects my experience in the car business and I respect what a fantastic sales person he is.”

Manager at First Vehicle Leasing, Andy Bell, said;
