The Suzuki Swift Sport – now available with five doors for an extra £500

SUZUKI has been doing a bit of mixing and matching and come up with a five-door version of the Swift Sport.

The sportiest Swift has been on sale as a three-door since the beginning of 2012, and the extra pair of doors come at a £500 premium – that takes the total price to £14,249.

The Swift Sport has a 136PS petrol engine paired to a six-speed manual gearbox delivering a combined fuel consumption of 44.1mpg and CO2 emissions of 147g/km – which means company car tax at 21%. Standard equipment includes aircon, fog-lamps, cruise control and Bluetooth.

Suzuki reckons the new five-door model will account for about 450 of the 1200 or so Swift Sports it sells in the UK each year.
