The Macan is the German manufacturer’s first foray into the compact SUV segment.
Dubbed as the only SUV with sports car dynamics, its also one of the cheapest models to keep on the road.
The most efficient Macan in the range is the S Diesel. Powered by a 254bhp 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel, Porsche claims economy of 46.3mpg and 159g/km of CO2.
That means a BIK company car rating of 27 per cent, with buyers being charged £2,338 and £4,676 for the 20 and 40 per cent taxpayer respectively.
