FORD has introduced a new, better-appointed version of its popular Fiesta ST hot hatch, the ST-3.

The extra equipment includes a keyless entry system, a Sony DAB radio/CD with satellite navigation, cruise control, automatic headlights, rain sensing wipers, an auto-dimming rear view mirror and power-fold door mirrors with puddle lamps.

The new car costs £19,250 and is in other respects the same as other STs.

Ford says it has sold more than 6250 Fiesta STs since the model was reintroduced last year, about twenty per cent more than forecast.
