IT is well known that supermarkets offer lower fuel prices than motorway filling stations.

With this in mind, it makes sense for any business to provide its company car drivers with fuel cards that can be only used at supermarket forecourts when they fill up.

fuelGenie, operated by Worldline, has been providing fuel cards to 100s of UK company car drivers that are accepted when filling up in any Morrisons or Tesco forecourt.

Now, its UK filling station network has expanded with the introduction of its new supermarket partner, Sainsbury’s. fuelGenie customers can use their business fuel card at 298 Sainsbury’s fuel stations nationwide, in addition to Morrisons and Tesco fuel stations.

In total, the network of available fuelGenie forecourts is now 1,200, all conveniently located across the UK.

Claire Alderson, Sales and Marketing Manager at fuelGenie, said;

“The addition of Sainsbury’s to the fuelGenie network will have a fantastic benefit to our business users. Sainsbury’s offers great value fuel pricing across the UK at easily accessible locations, adding further value and convenience to our customers.”

Fuel Buyer at Sainsbury’s, Chris Biggs, said;

“fuelGenie was a natural partner to bolster our business offering. The new partnership will help us continue to provide fantastic service to our business customers who regularly use our pumps for great value fuel prices.”
