LEASING companies who were once used to dealing with the corporate sales team of Honda will have had a lean time of it recently.
Honda opted out of corporate sales for several years – but are now back with what promises to be something of a bang with Marc Samuel heading fleet operations as fleet sales operation manager.
Marc is tasked to lead honda’s corporate fleet and SME operation and to help shape Honda’s renewed focus on the corporate business world, which includes the recent relaunch of its Platinum Programme, for corporate customers.
Previously Honda’s national sales manager, Marc’s previous experience includes spells at Manheim and Volkswagen.
Phil Webb, head of cars at Honda UK, commenting on Marc’s appointment said: “Marc Samuel is a key appointment. We now have one of the strongest corporate offerings in the marketplace: our entire range was relaunched last year and we have an enviable and award-winning reputation for reliability.
“We absolutely want to exceed expectations in the corporate world and ensure that we work with our dedicated dealer network to provide the best in customer service, as people expect of Honda. With Samuel’s appointment, we’re confident our new focus and team set-up will execute our long-term vision of sustainable and steady growth.”
