How the new Vauxhall Viva could work for your small business

Vauxhall Viva
Back to the Future: The Viva has been bought forward from its 1950s namesake

SO the Viva is back, but the like the adverts say, the only thing in common with this new city car and the 1950s original, is the name.

So with the Adam and Corsa doing a similar job in the SME company car market, will there also be a place for Viva on corporate lists?

We asked Vauxhall brand manager, Steve Bryant, his thoughts on this at the UK launch of the new Vauxhall Viva.

“It is a potential growth area for us, predominantly we see this as a retail model, but certainly small business buyers are potential customers for Viva.

“There maybe those businesses out there that are already perhaps running an Astra or Insignia that this car could also work for, Viva would fit their bill and they could stay within the range.

“In terms of Corsa, Viva compliments Corsa, although I think it will do a different job. Certainly, if customers are running any of its city car rivals, I would think that the running costs and the value for money will be added buying attractions.

“This is a new area for us, having a small city car, so it really is going to be a case of putting the car into the market and seeing the reaction to it.
