CORPORATE sales boss Jon Wackett has moved to strengthen the breadth and experience of his Jaguar and Land Rover corporate sales teams ahead of the Jaguar XE compact saloon launch next year.

At Jaguar, Ashley Masefield has taken over from Paul Brittan as fleet & business national sales manager following Paul Brittan’s move to franchising within JLR.

Ashley moves into the post having previously been a Land Rover regional business manager.

Meanwhile at Land Rover, Ryan Miller has moved from his post as corporate field team manager to take on a global product role with Range Rover. In his place comes Neil Mayling, previously a Jaguar regional business manager.

Another move is Kevin Hilton coming into the role of direct sales, replacing Phil Cannell who has moved to the role of technical services manager.

“We’re one organisation with two great brands,” explained Jon Wackett, fleet and business sales general manager at Jaguar Land Rover. “So there is a plan to all this.

“What I’m trying to get is a team with diverse experience and knowledge because this will strengthen the corporate sales team as a whole.

“For example, Kevin has technical expertise that the rest of the team can draw on. Similarly, having two regional business managers moving into key management posts means they have strong relationships with dealer management and their colleagues who look after the dealer network.
