JULIE Jenner is stepping down from her role as ACFO director due to a job promotion.

ACFO Ltd is the biggest UK body acting for the concerns of companies that operate vehicles as part of their usual commercial activities.

Julie has been key solutions manager for vehicle leasing and fleet management company, GE Capital Fleet Services for eight years and has now been promoted to pan-European strategic account manager.

After joining the ACFO 22 years ago, Julie held positions within the East Region and became director in 2003, then chairman in 2006, before stepping down from the latter position last year.

Julie said:“My new job means a huge learning curve and moving from a UK-based role to a European position also brings with it a large amount of travelling abroad.

“ACFO is a UK-specific organisation and to truly represent the organisation as a director takes time and dedication. Unfortunately, my new job means that I don’t believe I can truly commit to undertaking work on behalf of ACFO as I have done in the past.”

ACFO chairman John Pryor said: “Julie is a huge loss to ACFO because she has worked tirelessly for the organisation and its members over many years.

“I am delighted that Julie has earned a significant career promotion but simultaneously I am mortified at the loss to the board of her vast knowledge, enthusiasm and dedication.”

Julie’s official resignation date as ACFO director is 31st December 2014 with her final board meeting 10th December.
