KIA’S game-changing range-topping fastback Stinger was one of the highlights of the 2017 Detroit Motorshow and it certainly looked good in Switzerland this week.
Developed form the 2011 GT Concept, Stinger is designed to echo 70s GT cars and it’s bang on target.
Well, we’re only just into March and Kia have moved fast to debut European versions of the Stinger at the Geneva Motor Show.
Headline engine is the 370PS, 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6, but of more relevance to the business car market are the 255PS 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre diesel with 200PS – which are expected to make up the majority of UK sales, when Stinger is launched by the end of this year.
There will also be the choice of two- or four-wheel drive and feature a five-mode Drive Mode Select System. We can’t wait to get a go!
Kia also debuted a plug-in hybrid versions of its Optima Sportswagon estate and Niro on the Geneva stand.
