Paul Huxford addresses the BVRLA leasing broker luncheon

YESTERDAY, I was at a luncheon at the Landmark Hotel in Maryleybone, London.

The event was to celebrate 10 years of broker membership membership of the BVRLA (British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association).

I was fortunate to be a guest of Martin Brown from Fleet Alliance, one of the key fleet leasing broker companies in the UK – whose company had just gained recognition as one of the best workplaces in the UK (see Fleet Alliance shares Best Workplaces podium with Microsoft) – and a partner of Business Car Manager.

Martin has just stepped down as chairman of the BRVRLA leasing broker committee to become vice-chair; his replacement is Paul Huxford from PHVC Vehicle Management.

Paul recognized the changes over the last 10 years and the growth in the professionalism and standards of BVRLA approved leasing brokers, of which there are around 120. But central to leasing brokers is the service they provide to SMEs.

“We are strong on SMEs and that’s where we are focused,” noted Paul as he addressed the 70 guests. “We are bringing money to businesses which banks aren’t and we will continue to specialist in this SME area.”

If you are an SME business and want a new business car lease, then have a look at what the BVRLA-approved leasing brokers can offer: the standards are high, the leasing deals good, and the advice useful.
