ANDY BROWN, former managing director of leasing company Fourways Vehicle Solutions, is stepping away from the world of fleet leasing.

Andy has been appointed as new managing director of fleet auction company CD Auction Group, taking over from Roger Woodward with immediate effect. Roger will remain with the business as consultant and board director.

Brown has made his name in the fleet and remarketing industry and is known for his experience at the Venson Group as operations director and also Inchcape Fleet Solutions. Director at Fourways Vehicle Solutions was his most recent role.

Speaking of his new role, Brown said: “CD Auction Group is a business with great potential and some of the best remarketing systems and services in the business.

“I look forward developing our strategy for the industry and building on the success that Roger and the team have created over the past 25 years.

We have a number of new ideas to further develop market-leading products, such as our new Pool Fleet Management service, but the fundamental ethos of CD Auction Group will not change.

“We are friendly, personally managed and flexible to offer fleet and leasing operators the best, most cost effective remarketing in the industry.”

Roger Woodward said: “I am delighted that we have found somebody of the calibre of Andy Brown to take CD Auction Group forward.
