Leasys takes over FCA Fleet Services

LEASYS is the new name for FCA Fleet Services,

The contract hire and mobility arm of FCA Bank has taken over the contract hire business of FCA Fleet Services UK.

During the last two years, FCA Fleet Services saw rapid expansion on the back of the growth of personal contract hire and new SME business. It moved up to p24 in the FN50 and increasing its fleet size from 4812 to over 7300.

Leasys, the new owner of FCA Fleet Services, says its current fleet size is now 9000.

Roberto Bellavia has been appointed head of Leasys UK by Alex Hughes, managing director of FCA Bank Group UK. Roberto is an established figure in the contract hire and automotive industry with several years of international experience.

Alex Hughes commented: “The launch marks a further step change in the business, broadening its appeal across the UK fleet market, from Pan-European corporate fleets, to serving the FCA dealer network and supporting businesses across the UK to find the right leasing solution.”

Leasys S.p.A, the contract hire and mobility company of FCA Bank (the joint venture of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Crédit Agricole), has strengthened its European expansion, after taking over the contract hire business of FCA Fleet Services UK.

It celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2016, and earned the title of fastest growing automotive leasing company in the United Kingdom, according to the FN50.

FCA Fleet Services UK (today Leasys UK) has seen rapid growth in the past two years, thanks to demand from the SME market as well as the growth in Personal Contract Hire solutions. They have recently passed a significant milestone: achieving a fleet size of more than 9,000 vehicles.

To guide Leasys in its UK HQ office, Roberto Bellavia has been appointed Head of Leasys UK by Alex Hughes, managing director, FCA Bank Group UK. Roberto brings with him several years of international experience within the Contract Hire and Automotive industry.

Alex Hughes said: “The launch marks a further step change in the business, broadening its appeal across the UK Fleet Market, from Pan-European corporate fleets, to serving the FCA dealer network and supporting businesses across the UK to find the right leasing solution.”

The FCA Bank is a joint venture between Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Crédit Agricole.
