The new Mercedes flagship comes with a host of new technological aids to your absolute comfort

What is it?

According to the boss of Mercedes, it’s the best car in the world.

To you and me it’s the new Mercedes S-Class, the luxury flagship of one of the world’s best luxury brands.

The Mercedes S-Class has always been known for its futuristic technology, impeccable refinement and magic carpet ride comfort and this latest model is looking to deliver more of the same.

One of the very finest interiors. Everything is beautifully made and perfectly thought out

It comes with a few world firsts such as a hot stone massage function for the seats, heated armrests, a suspension system that reads the road, adjusting as it goes, and an autonomous driving set-up that can steer, brake and accelerate for you.

For this S-Class car review, we’re driving the S350 BlueTEC, fitted with a V6 diesel – but a four-cylinder diesel hybrid is also available, along with a V8-powered petrol model.

There’s a plug-in hybrid due in the beginning of 2014 too.
