MIKE Wise is the new group sales director at vGroup International.
Wise takes on the board level position with the UK’s leading provider of motor accessory essentials, following a restructure to prepare for the company’s next expansion stage.
Wise will work across vGroup International’s three autonomous divisions:
- vLease, which services the contract hire and leasing sector, mobile accessory fitment service vComms; and dealer, vehicle manufacturer and export market sectors
- retail division P1 Limited; and
- Middleton Manufacturing, which manufactures car mats and other vehicle accessories.
Additionally, Mr Wise will oversee the integration into vGroup International of two recent acquisitions – Cosmos Motor Accessories and Middleton Manufacturing.
Mr Wise, in a 37-year automotive industry career, has held senior roles in a number of organisations, particularly companies operating in the fleet sector notably as director at technology solutions provider epyx, head of Kwik Fit’s fleet division and managing director of ATS Euromaster.
While Wise takes on the new group sales director role, vGroup International sales and customer service director Vicky Arnold will leave the company on December 22, 2017.
Ms Arnold, who joined vGroup International 15 years ago and was promoted via a number of sales roles to sales and customer service director, a post she has held for three years, is leaving to take up a new role within the automotive industry in January 2018.
