MINI Countryman: Extra urge and ALL4 drive in latest model

MINI is raising its game.

For small business owners who want to drive something really different, for the first time, rally-bred thrills can be experienced in combination with the transfer of power through all four wheels.

The MINI John Cooper Works Countryman, fitted with the most powerful engine in the MINI model range and equipped as standard with the ALL4 all-wheel-drive system, means you’ll be able to experience extreme driving fun on any terrain.

Powertrain and chassis technology underpinned by extensive motor sport expertise has been teamed up with the four-door MINI. That means you get the ability to carry 1,170 litres of luggage space or up to five passengers at some speed. And with extra secure handling.

The four-wheel drive MINI features a newly developed 1.6-litre engine with 218 hp and 280Nm torque, which increases to 300Nm with the overboost facility. Just in case you need a little extra oomph.

Other features include 18 inch twin spoke alloy wheels  with a 19 inch option, beefed up motor sport body kit, special John Cooper Works cabin finish (sports seats, steering wheel and interior trim) and the option of a six-speed automatic in place of the six-speed manual gearbox.

The MINI John Cooper Works Countryman will cost £28,595.

Our business car news section covers the latest models and changes to help you decided on what you should be running next and our company car comparisons are a useful snapshot of their strengths and weaknesses.
