Minimising grey fleet risk

Arnold Clark Vehicle Management has launched Risk Manager.

Risk Manager covers legal, financial and operational risk or responsibility.

In particular, it covers the ‘grey fleet’ area – those staff-owned cars used for business. The Document Management service checks the validity of insurance and MOT documents plus there’s a licence checking facility to help meet ‘duty of care’ obligations under HSE regulations regarding ‘Cash For Car/Opt Out’ vehicles.

“Risk Manager is a fantastic addition to our range of vehicle management products,” commented Hugh Wallace, managing director, Arnold Clark Vehicle Management.

“We’ve been working on it for nearly two years and are delighted to be able to release it at a time when Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide are firmly on the agenda.”

Risk Manager is flexible, so you only choose the elements you require for your business and budget. Arnold Clark Vehicle Management says the benefits of Risk Manager include: reduced operating costs; less vehicle off-road time; fewer, less costly accidents; lower insurance premiums; advice on legal compliance; and time-saving efficiency improvements.
