Jaguar’s X-TYPE saloon and estate models get a new look next year.
Jaguar’s answer to the Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series has been restyled.
It includes elements of the new Jaguar XF saloon model – such as a new front grille.
The new model will also offer a diesel auto option for the first time.
The six-speed auto will be paired with the 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine.
Interior changes include new seat designs, and enhanced comfort features: improved Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity and revised parking aid systems.
The new Jaguar X-TYPE will go on sale in March 2008.
Pricing for the 2.0-litre diesel saloon will be from £21,500.
The 2.2-litre will be priced from £22,500. The auto option will cost an additional £1450.
The estate 2.2 will cost from £23,900.
