New look for revised Jaguar X-TYPE

Jaguar’s X-TYPE saloon and estate models get a new look next year.

Jaguar’s answer to the Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series has been restyled.

It includes elements of the new Jaguar XF saloon model – such as a new front grille.

The new model will also offer a diesel auto option for the first time.

The six-speed auto will be paired with the 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine.

Interior changes include new seat designs, and enhanced comfort features: improved Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity and revised parking aid systems.

The new Jaguar X-TYPE will go on sale in March 2008.

Pricing for the 2.0-litre diesel saloon will be from L21,500.

The 2.2-litre will be priced from L22,500. The auto option will cost an additional L1450. The estate 2.2 will cost from L23,900.
