HAVE you ever thought that a fuel card would help your small business or SME company car fleet?
Fuel cards help provide additional credit, reduce your admin, and provide one HMRC-approved invoice.
RAC fuel card benefits
- Nationwide fuel network of over 1000 sites
- Online fuel site locator
- No transaction fees
- Up to 45 days credit on fuel transactions
- Online reporting available 24/7
- One HMRC approved invoice
- Reduced admin time – no need for fuel receipts
There are already plenty on the market, but here’s a new one from the RAC – and it’s aimed specifically at you: small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The RAC says its new RAC fuel card will help keep cash flowing for SMEs, because it offers up to 45 days’ credit and a choice of 1000 low cost fuel filling stations – which is soon due to double.
The RAC Business Club Fuel Card – to give its full title – is the first part of the RAC’s forthcoming SME-focused RAC Business Club.
The RAC’s head of operations development, Dan Sparks, commented: “Cost is always going to be a significant reason to choose a fuel card, however, SME business owners and business car managers are more knowledgeable than ever when it comes to what is available and what suits their business needs.
“We aim to give more control and convenience with a closed national network to help drivers use lower priced supermarket forecourts as often as possible.
“And by giving up to 45 days’ credit we can help SMEs maintain optimal cash flow – something that is increasingly important in the current economic climate.”
The RAC fuel card costs £5 per card until the end of 2013, when the cost increases to £10.
