Sharper than before, great premium feel, very well equipped, and with rock bottom company car tax. You should take a look.

74.3mpg and rock bottom company car tax at 14% don’t often come with cars offering the Qashqai’s level of accommodation

What’s hot

  • Smart styling is inoffensive.
  • Sub-100g/km of CO2 reaps big benefits for company car tax and road tax.
  • Cost reducing 74.3mpg economy.
  • Loads of clever ideas that make life easier, such as the multiple-choice boot.
  • Ride quality very good, albeit on smooth Spanish roads.
    New Nissan Qashqai
It’s very well equipped with all the required business-friendly infotainment stuff, and it also feels like a premium product in here
  • Handling is safe and predictable in all circumstances.
  • Excellent levels of equipment across the range.
  • Infotainment system and sat nav are easy to use and good quality.
  • Increased room inside in all directions.
  • Safety kit (optional on some specs) adds a degree of security to driving.
  • Excellent quality of fit and finish.

What’s not

  • Evolutionary styling means it’s not very exciting to look at.
  • Quality on the steering wheel controls is well below par.
  • Performance is only just acceptable.
  • Optional 19 inch wheels look good but ride quality suffers.
  • Automatic option only available on 1.6, and even then it’s a CVT.
  • 4WD option only on the 1.6, and that adds heavy multi-link suspension to the rear.
