Van Monster used van outlet opens in Darlington

THE self-employed, tradesmen and small businesses have better access to used vans following the opening of a Van Monster outlet in Darlington, County Durham.

Van Monster retails used vans from Northgate Vehicle Hire, Britain’s largest business van hire company, direct to local businesses and private buyers.

The Van Monster centre on Allington Way on Yarm Road Industrial Estate brings the total number of Van Monster retail sites across the UK to eight.

Small businesses can find a range of business vans, says Van Monster.

These include car-derived vans, small, medium and large panel vans – such as Mercedes-Benz Sprinters and Ford Transits – chassis cabs and tippers from a range of leading manufacturers including Ford, Mercedes-Benz and Vauxhall as well as Citroen, Fiat, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot and Volkswagen.

There is also the opportunity to take advantage of 12 month 0% APR finance on Vauxhall Combo, Vauxhall Astravan, Ford Transit 280, Peugeot Partner (new model) and Peugeot Expert (new model). Peace of mind is provided with a three-month or 3,000-mile warranty cover.

Gary Sullivan, Van Monster managing director, said: “The recession meant that many businesses were unable to afford to buy new vehicles. However, it is important for small firms and sole traders to operate modern, well maintained vans which will be more efficient than the older vehicles they are currently running by being less costly to service and maintain.”
