THE Geneva Show in early March always brings with it a wonderful array of new cars. We went for a nose around the stands to see what company cars you should be looking out for over the next 12 months, from the practical company car to what the successful small  business owner might like to try. So here in alphabetical order are 10 best business cars.

SUVs. You really couldn’t move in the show for tripping over a new one. They are the must drive item. And the Audi has hit the market with its compact Q2 model. On sale from November it will have both two and four-wheel drive quatrro variants. Engines start with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder and a 150PS 2.0 litre diesel.

Fiat 124 Spider

Oh wow! Fiat has done it again. Following the retro-inspired 500, here’s the achingly lovely 124 Spider reinvented for a modern day audience of business drivers (classic and new 124 Spiders are pictured above). Prices will commence below £20k, while power comes from Fiat’s 1.4 MultiAir Turbo Petrol engine. Get your best sunnies out!

Ford S-MAX Vignale

This is the second model in the emerging Vignale range and in the S-MAX it suits the heightened luxury of the Vignale brand. And if you don’t fancy the S-MAX in Vignale trim, then there’s also an SUV version in the new Edge Vignale. No prices yet for S-MAX Vignale, but expect it to be around the £33k mark. You can take your family travelling in luxurious style.
