Membership of the Club brings a host of benefits to take the unknowns out of managing a small fleet

Alerts and reminders

“The business car manager can set a series of alerts and reminders on things such as servicing, tyre checks, MOT.

“The alerts can be scheduled to remind the driver or just go just to the business car manager, depending on who is more relevant.”

Servicing, MOT and repair booking

“This gives the business car manager or driver access to a network of independent garages, inspected and approved by RAC.

“The benefits are peace-of mind with an ‘RAC Approved’ list, the cost saving of using independent garages, and the convenience of sourcing them all in Business Club when make a booking.

“The garage will update against your vehicle record in Business Club the status of the job, the completed cost and type of work carried out.”

Tyres, glass, vehicle hire

“Similar to the online garage network and booking system, the same is available for tyres (ATS), glass (Autoglass), and a multi-network of vehicle hire providers.”

RAC Fuel Card access and administration

“RAC Fuel cards allow businesses to reduce costs by managing fuel spend. They are accepted at a wide network of sites, including at the lower cost supermarkets. Business car managers have full visibility as to where drivers refuel.”

Keith added: “One key thing to note is the ability business car managers have to run and download an extensive range of reports based on their fleet and associated transaction data in Business Club.

“Traditionally, a business car manager might be used to receiving annual reports which detail fuel use and spend by vehicle.

“RAC Business Club takes things to a new level – not only do you have access to reports online 24/7, you can now run reports on a far more detailed basis. For example you can see pence per litre by site, or view miles per gallon by driver or vehicle.”
