Glasgow Skypark: no home for Fleet Alliance as orders increase

THE sky, or rather Glasgow’s Skypark, is the limit for vehicle funding and management specialist, Fleet Alliance, as it looks set to enjoy another record-breaking year.

Fleet Alliance – still fresh from picking up two trophies at last year’s inaugural Business Car Manager Small Fleet Leasing Awards – manages and funds in excess of 14,000 vehicles, with a combined value of £300 million.

And now – largely thanks to the growth in both the SME and medium-sized corporate sector – the company has seen a huge surge in weekly orders since the start of the year.

The result is a planned move to new state-of-the-art offices within walking distance of Glasgow city centre, plus the arrival of Rob Wentworth-James as Corporate Sales Director. Such progress will see Fleet Alliance looking to target larger company car fleets and the development of maintenance management services for outright purchase fleets.

Fleet Alliance managing director, Martin Brown, is understandably excited about the company’s short- and long-term prospects, saying:
