FLEET ALLIANCE has been a specialist in offering business car leasing to the SME market. But now the small fleet leasing specialist has its eye on bigger things with the appointment of Rob Wentworth-James.
The overall winner of our Small Fleet Leasing Awards wants to expand its fleet management capability and to include larger company car fleets in its market – and Rob Wentworth-James is the man to do it reckons Fleet Alliance boss, Martin Brown.
“Rob’s 17 years’ experience of providing fleet management services to larger fleets, coupled with our reputation for going above and beyond in terms of customer service, will ensure that this will be a successful time for Fleet Alliance and our customers.
“While we have achieved some notable successes in the corporate sector, it is our intention to expand our capabilities and offer maintenance management on a pay-as-you-go basis for those companies that are looking to reduce their maintenance costs, without increasing their administration.”
Rob Wentworth-James will take up the newly created post of corporate sales director.
Rob was previously head of sales and marketing at Newport Pagnell-based fleet management specialist, CLM, where he worked for the last 17 years. Before this, he gained further large corporate experience as part of leasing company GE Capital Fleet Services as the new business manager of the Key Accounts team.
“I love the fact that it is an independent fleet management business, has customer service excellence as the primary focus and is led by such a forward-looking leadership team,” commented Rob on his appointment.
“I am confident that Fleet Alliance will achieve considerable success in the corporate market.”
Fleet Alliance enjoyed a record-breaking year in 2013 and was shortlisted for the Customer Focus Award at the National Business Awards in recognition of the quality of customer service it provides to small fleet clients.
