SEAT Leon FR
0-62 mph in 7.5 seconds meets 67.3mpg and rock bottom company car tax

THE SEAT Leon FR 2.0-litre TDI is now on sale, with first deliveries due in September. It offers distinctly hot hatch performance without the hot tax that often goes with it.

Packed with 181bhp and 380Nm of torque, the SEAT Leon FR will do 0-62mph in 7.5 seconds yet return 67.3mpg.

Few cars offer this blend of performance and economy, both financially and in terms of smiles per mile

Standard equipment is generous, while CO2 emissions of only 109g/km mean a company car tax rate of only 16 percent. Basic rate tax payers will pay £63 a month in company car tax – £126 for 40 percent tax payers.

All this means that SME business car managers can provide their company car drivers with an aspirational sporting car without the worry of it costing thousands in fuel and Class 1 National Insurance contributions.

Few cars offer this blend of performance and economy, both financially and in terms of smiles per mile.

Thanks to a powerful 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine, the Leon FR packs enough overtaking power to feel fast on a twisty road as well as being refined and comfortable on the motorway. The car’s 380Nm torque figure even matches that of the current Porsche Cayman S – a true thoroughbred sports car.

Standard equipment includes LED rear lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, tinted windows and an aggressive bodykit.

Generous spec compliments the performance with climate control, a colour touchscreen and Bluetooth all standard

Climate control, sports seats and a colour touchscreen are also included, as is Bluetooth connectivity and an eight-speaker stereo. The Leon FR really does leave you wanting for nothing.

The SEAT Leon 2.0 TDI FR is on sale now, with the first cars ready for test drive from July. Prices start at £22,075 for the three door Leon SC, while five door models cost from £22,375.
