The SEAT’s headlights and heated seats have been in demand since the weather has got darker and colder

I’VE had the pleasure of the Leon’s company for six-months now and when not transporting my family around at weekends, it’s been wearing a groove in the M25 taking me to an industry event or car launch somewhere around the country.

After an exceptional September and early October weather-wise, the rain finally came just as I needed to get to the car manufacturer’s car launch location of choice – the Cotswolds. Twice over the course of two-weeks!

It seems that we as a nation seem to loose our ability to drive when heavy rain hits the tarmac and a usual two-hour commute from my home in Herts, was almost doubled due to serious accidents.

Still, with all this time spent inside the Leon, it has made me appreciate its design and features perhaps more than before.

Firstly, there’s the seats, which are comfortable and supportive enough not to feel severe bum ache  – even after four-hour commutes. I have to admit I was worried how hard the seats were on the Leon’s first long trip to the Wirral in late May, as they initially felt unyielding. It’s amazing how almost 3,500 miles of use has softened them up!
