Sensus is a new onboard operating system from Volvo that allows you to browse the internet and stream music as well as enabling the more familiar online applications like sat nav and Smartphone connection

VOLVO Sensus is an onboard operating system that brings together all the car’s features through one neat touchscreen. Browse the internet, stream music or get directions using the in-built satellite navigation – Sensus Connected Touch is the safe and simple way to stay connected on the move.

The Sensus system is a dealer-fitted accessory and is available now on all new Volvos – aside from the current Volvo XC90 – and it’s all delivered through ‘the cloud’ so as long as you have an internet connection you have all the functionality at your fingertips.

1 – Browse the internet in your car

Laptops, mobile phones and tablets are things of the past – the latest way to stay in touch with news, email and social media is via your car. Whether you’re looking for directions or searching for an article on Google – Volvo Sensus can do anything you computer can do, from the comfort of your car.

 2 – Navigation

Volvo Sensus uses iGO Navigation to get you to your destination via 3D mapping and voice guidance.

Inputting your desired location is simple, and getting there is a breeze – you can even select your destination from your home PC and send it to your car in advance.

3 – Music and media streaming

Listening to your favourite album, podcast or radio show has never been so straightforward.

Volvo Sensus can play songs from a USB plugged into the car’s dashboard, or even use local streaming services such as Spotify or Deezer to broadcast music from the internet. You decide what to listen to, and your Volvo grants your wish.
