I must admit to being a big fan of heated seats – and if you can throw in a heated steering wheel so much the better.

But Toyota buyers in the US are feeling the heat for another reason.

Many of the 2014 cars and pick ups that have heated seats apparently don’t have the requisite fire retardant material covering them.

Apparently Toyota is making the necessary modifications to ensure American drivers don’t find themselves sitting on a fiery furnace.
