Tesla Model S 60kWh

What’s not so good?

  • For those of you who don’t have access to Tesla’s supercharger network, charging the Model S from a standard power source does so at a rate of only 5 mile per hour. That’s 43 hours for full charge.
  • Performance is blistering and refinement excellent but if you’re after a really engaging car for more demanding roads the Tesla isn’t best suited. Faster corners do highlight the Tesla’s near 2,000kg bulk.

Verdict

In flagship P85+ or 60kWh guise, the Tesla Model s is a real game changer. It alleviates the stress of range anxiety and costs next to nothing to run.

The performance and cabin design is like nothing else currently available and almost has to be experienced to be believed. Yet it doesn’t come without its drawbacks and won’t suit everyone’s day to day needs.

For those business users who are in the fortunate position of being able to run a Range Rover or Mercedes S-Class as a company car, your decision just became a little trickier.
