Mercedes AMG GT
One the biggest stars at Paris was showcased on the Mercedes stand. The brand new AMG GT is a completely new car from the ground up and gives the German manufacturer a genuine rival for the mighty Porsche 911.
Under the bonnet sits a new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 which develops 456bhp – but if that’s not enough, there is also a GT S model which sees power rise to 503bhp.
Prices are expected to kick off around £110,000, with a £10,000 premium for the GT S. That puts it firmly in Porsche 911 Turbo and Jaguar F-Type R territory. Just right for a successful small business owner!
