Nissan Qashqai
Priced from: £17,995
Could 2014 be the year of the Qashqai?
Despite having the unenviable job of replacing the car that started the crossover revolution, Nissan have come back with a polished performer, with the emphasis on quality and technology.
Classier than before, the latest Qashqai is also economical and refined.Downsides are that the Nissan is expensive to buy and some won’t be able to live with the jittery ride.
The 1.5-litre dCi diesel is smooth, punchy but still economical. With emissions of just 99g/km and 74mpg, the Qashqai has a company car tax band of 15%.
