HOT

July has been no exception to the trend in strong Ferrari values. Dealers are eager and stock is low which is why values have risen or at least stayed stable over the last 6 months. The strongest performers include 360, F430 and older ‘future classics’ like the 355.

Look for prestige 4X4 values to rise as autumn draws on

Another ‘future classic’ is the pre-2006 Jaguar XKR where values are showing great strength.

Because of the rampant expansion of product portfolios among the prestige manufacturers, there’s huge choice on the used market and it can be easy to overlook some models. And like the BMW 6 series last month, old XKR values look set for a period of stability.

The usual summer trend for prestige 4WD values to cool off is drawing to a close with August and the trade will be looking for more product with the peak autumn selling months just around the corner.

‘Back to school’ should see values rise at least until the turn of the year.
