INNOVATIVE broker Richard Bunn and his White Hot Vans outfit are expanding from their north Home Counties HQ to the beach: Bournemouth to be exact.
The company has just opened an office on the south coast and is looking to expand its operation by tapping into the area’s desire for upmarket vans.
“In Bournemouth you have a lot of posh homes that need posh builders. Doing posh vans is exactly what we do, so we see it as a chance to expand,” explained Richard.
“Half of our volume is Ford’s Wildtrack pick up so you can see the type of customer we are attracting – and the type of customer we can appeal to in Bournemouth.
“In addition we see a market for modifying new Transporters, so we’re working with converters Vanworx. We’re putting in captain’s chairs, windows, softening up the interior.
“They’re for business owners who aren’t on the tools anymore, but need it for a bit of work, they can claim all the VAT back while still being able to take the grandchildren during the weekend.”
Richard has been renting an office to test the water before setting up a White Hot Vans outpost permanently within the next few months.
